MindRank Pharma Founder Dr. Niu Zhangming Delivers Keynote at 2025 Bosi Conference on AI-Driven Drug Discovery

Zhangming Niu started from the traditional logic of innovative drug development, deeply analyzed the challenges currently faced by the industry, and systematically elaborated on the enabling paths of AI in the early stages of new drug development and clinical validation in conjunction with the development trends of artificial intelligence. He pointed out that artificial intelligence technology has significantly improved the efficiency of drug development, drastically reduced the cost of preclinical trials, making it possible for innovative drug development to break free from the traditional "10 years + 1 billion" rule, thereby benefiting a wide range of patient populations more efficiently.

MindRank has built an industrial-grade one-stop AI new drug R&D platform with independent intellectual property rights, which includes a one-stop AI drug design platform Molecule Pro, a protein dynamic simulation and structure prediction platform Molecule Dance, and a knowledge graph-based data mining platform PharmKG. The platform can efficiently complete target and mechanism discovery/confirmation, data extraction and cleaning, and ultimately achieve precise design of customized drugs. Notably, MindRank's first AI-assisted designed GLP-1RA small molecule new drug MDR-001 successfully completed Phase IIb clinical trials in May 2025. Study results showed that patients in the treatment group achieved a weight loss of up to 10.3% at 24 weeks, with excellent safety and tolerability.
