A new regulation has brought hope to the owners of chain pharmacies. As the 2025 deadline for the deployment of licensed pharmacists approaches, around 15,000 retail pharmacies in Fujian are facing a professional talent gap of about 20%, equivalent to at least 30,000 vacant positions. First is the exemption from examination for direct recognition. Huadong Medicine: 41st place, first appearance on the list.
BeiGene: Ranked 44th with $3.78 billion in sales, making its first appearance on the list. It is also the Chinese pharmaceutical company with the highest R&D investment among the six listed Chinese companies, with R&D expenditure and R&D investment rate reaching $1.854 billion and 49.05%, respectively.
Hengrui Pharma: Ranked 46th on the list, moving up two places from last year, demonstrating its continuously growing comprehensive strength.
CSPC Group: Ranked 48th, back on the list.
