In August 2025, Divamics Inc. announced that it had received strategic investment from Suzhou Angel Mother Fund.Following the May 2025 investment round led by Yuanbio Venture Capital, Divamics' Series A financing has reached a new milestone.
In recent years, global investment in new drug research and development has continued to rise. According to statistics from Evaluate Pharma, an authoritative data and forecasting agency in the global pharmaceutical industry, global pharmaceutical R&D investment reached nearly $288 billion in 2024, and by 2030, R&D spending in this industry is expected to reach approximately $340 billion. However, despite the vast market prospects, most AI-driven pharmaceutical companies in China still have pipelines that remain in the research and development stage, with the industry rapidly transitioning from technical validation to clinical implementation.

As market investments continue to rise and the industry undergoes rapid transitions, Divamics focuses on utilizing multi-scale molecular dynamics combined with self-developed AI algorithms to build a new generation of artificial intelligence drug discovery platforms. Its core technologies, the DIVAMICS dynamics platform and the BIOTRAJECTORY database, are based on AI force fields for multi-scale molecular dynamics, enabling simulations of dynamic changes in protein structures and drug target binding modes ranging from tens of nanoseconds to milliseconds. This allows for highly flexible target modeling, druggability analysis of targets, and structural screening, design, and optimization for small molecules, PROTACs, molecular glues, peptides, and other drug types. This breakthrough technology surpasses the limitations of traditional AI, which can only analyze static protein images, allowing for more precise identification of binding sites while integrating virtual screening to significantly improve hit rates for new drug molecules. This technology is expected to shorten the new drug development cycle by 2 to 3 years and reduce costs by approximately 30% to 50%.In terms of scientific research achievements, Divamics has obtained the first U.S. patent authorization for its AI drug design algorithm and built the world’s first kinetic trajectory database, promoting the integration of big data in R&D with patents and clinical information. In February this year, the company's collaborative achievements with Peking University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Wuhan University of Technology, and other universities were successively published in sub-journals of international academic journals such as Cell and Nature, providing academic validation for "AI-assisted drug discovery."In terms of commercialization, the company currently serves more than 50 pharmaceutical industry clients both in China and overseas, including 10 listed companies. It is collaborating on over 80 new drug development pipelines and has successfully filed compound patents for more than 10 collaborative pipelines, several of which have entered Phase III clinical trials. The addition of new strategic investors further validates Divamics' technical approach and industrialization potential in the AI pharmaceuticals field. In the future, the company will continue to deepen its core platform capabilities, expand more collaboration scenarios, and accelerate the research, development, and translation of innovative drugs.About Divamics
Divamics Inc., Suzhou, has built a unique multi-scale molecular dynamics simulation platform and an AI-based early drug discovery decision-making platform. These platforms aim to more accurately understand the dynamic interactions and mechanisms of action between drug molecules and targets, rationally design drugs, predict efficacy and drug-likeness, overcome traditional bottlenecks in drug discovery, and provide an integrated Hits-to-PCC research and development platform for various types of drug discovery, including small molecules, peptides, and large molecules.Divamics Inc. has been awarded the Suzhou Industrial Park Technology Leadership Program, the Suzhou-level Gusu Leadership Talent Program, and the National High-tech Enterprise. Its core technology has been recommended by Professor Roald Hoffmann, a Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry. The company's headquarters is located in Suzhou, with a computing center in Beijing and BD cooperation centers in Singapore and Japan. Currently, it has collaborated with over 50 biopharmaceutical companies at home and abroad to advance more than 80 new drug development pipelines.
