According to the agreement:
  • OMass Therapeutics will receive$20 million upfront payment, and is expected to be obtained during the project advancement process.Over 400 Million USD MilestoneReturn, while enjoying based onTiered Royalties on Net Sales
  • OMass will be responsible for preclinical research and candidate selection, while Genentech will undertake subsequent clinical development, registration, production, and commercialization.

OMass Therapeutics Relies onOdyssION™ Platform, significant progress has been made on this first-in-class target.

OMass Therapeutics has previously established a diverse R&D pipeline based on the OdyssION™ platform and completed a $100 million financing in 2022, with projects covering immune diseases, rare endocrine disorders, and inflammatory bowel disease.

This collaboration will lay the foundation for accelerating its IBD project into clinical trials, further demonstrating the platform's potential to drive drug innovation and translation.

RocheBoris L. Zaïtra, Head of Corporate Business Development, emphasized that there are currently approximately 8 million IBD patients globally, with a significant unmet treatment need remaining. The collaboration with OMass Therapeutics is expected to accelerate the development of innovative therapies.

OMass TherapeuticsCEO Ros Deegan stated that Genentech, with its extensive experience in the field of immunology, is the ideal partner to advance this project.
