Tencent Trusted Doctors Acquires 25 Clinics of Zinfu Dental, Building its Healthcare Network in Shenzhen

According to iyiou.com, Tencent Trusted Doctors has completed the acquisition of 25 clinics of Zinfu Dental in Shenzhen, China. It is worth noting that this acquisition is also an important part of further practice and improvement of specialized medical service in Shenzhen. Up to now, Tencent Trusted Doctors has gradually built the urban medical service model in Shenzhen and has completed the layout of a few businesses, including primary medical treatment, polyclinic, surgery center, specialty clinic, satellite clinic, enterprise clinic and so on.

This is the largest merger of offline clinics since the establishment of Tencent Trusted Doctors. The acquirement is not only for setting up its physical institutions but also for building a basic medical service model centered on family doctors in Shenzhen. 

The goal of this service model is to integrate basic medical services (health management, chronic disease management, pediatrics, general practice, traditional Chinese medicine, etc.), specialized medical services (dental, rehabilitation, ophthalmology, ambulatory surgery, etc.), and referral to third-level A grade hospitals, so as to provide patients with a one-stop medical and healthcare system.

Tencent Trusted Doctors was established in early August 2018 upon the merger of Tencent Doctorwork and Trusted Doctors, and is acquiring the start-up in an attempt to create a private healthcare network that provides both online and offline services through the so-called "celebrity effect".

So far, in addition to Shenzhen, Tencent Trusted Doctors' business has covered 12 cities including Guangzhou, Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. In the future, Tencent Trusted Doctors will expand its comprehensive healthcare service system to the whole Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Meanwhile, it is also trying to introduce Hong Kong's advanced medical mode, which is suitable for national conditions and economic situation to gradually improve the basic medical service in China.
