This testing product will help researchers incorporate proteomic analysis into large-scale genomic studies to support scientific discovery and clinical research. According to the company's press release, Illumina Protein Prep, powered by SOMAmer™ technology, can detect 9,500 unique human protein targets, making it the testing product with the widest coverage based on NGS (next-generation sequencing) readouts currently available.
