Sutra Hemi-valve Transcatheter Mitral Valve Repair System Successfully Completes First-in-Human Implantation in Clinical Trial

(Sutra) (a company in which the group holds a strategic investment) successfully completed the first implantation of its Sutra Hemi-valve Transcatheter Mitral Valve Repair System for the First-in-Man (FIM) clinical trial. The surgery was performed on an 83-year-old high-risk patient with severe functional mitral regurgitation at Waikato Hospital in New Zealand, for whom traditional treatment options were not applicable. The patient recovered well and was discharged on the third day.
