Chengdu HitGen's Partner BioAge Launches Phase I Clinical Trial of Novel NLRP3 Inhibitor BGE-102

Gelonghui September 15 | According to Chengdu先导's news, its partner BioAge Labs, Inc. ("BioAge") has recently initiated a Phase I clinical study of the novel and potent NLRP3 inhibitor BGE-102. The lead compound of BGE-102 was discovered through screening in Chengdu先导's DNA Encoded Library (DEL). Per the collaboration agreement, Chengdu先导 will receive relevant milestone payments, with the specific amount yet to be disclosed. BGE-102 is an orally administered small molecule NLRP3 inhibitor with a novel structure, high activity, and good blood-brain barrier permeability, being developed for the treatment of obesity.
