【Pharmaceutical Network Medical Stock Market] As of the closing on September 18, XtalPi rose by 7.49%, quoted at HKD 10.62, with a turnover of 2.861 billion, a turnover rate of 6.39%, and a total market value of 45.697 billion.

In terms of updates, recently, XtalPi announced that the next-generation PRMT5 inhibitor PEP08, discovered with its support for PharmaEngine, Inc., has reached a significant clinical development milestone. PEP08 has recently been approved for clinical trials by the Australian Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC), the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) of Australia, and the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) in China, marking the upcoming initiation of Phase I clinical trials for this drug. Based on this progress, XtalPi confirmed receipt of the milestone payment for this project.

CITIC Securities pointed out that XtalPi's AI pharmaceutical business commercialization is proceeding steadily, with a year-on-year growth rate of 615% in drug discovery services in the first half of 2025. XtalPi has maintained long-term cooperation with global pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. For instance, on June 30, 2025, XtalPi deepened its strategic partnership with Pfizer to jointly build an AI-driven drug and new materials research platform based on molecular simulation. This collaboration aims to integrate the precision of physical algorithms with the advantages of AI models to enhance platform efficiency, accuracy, and chemical space coverage, thereby accelerating small molecule drug development. In 2024, the XFF force field jointly developed by both parties demonstrated superior performance compared to commercially dominant software. This partnership will further upgrade the platform and enable Pfizer’s localized deployment of the XFEP free energy perturbation platform, covering the entire process. The CEO of XtalPi stated that this collaboration will break through traditional models and expedite the development of breakthrough therapies. In its partnership with Johnson & Johnson, XtalPi's self-developed AI large-molecule drug structure modeling platform, XtalFold®, played a crucial role. As a globally advanced product commercially validated in multinational pharmaceutical pipelines, XtalFold® has enhanced Johnson & Johnson's drug R&D efficiency across various application scenarios, including antigen design, epitope identification, affinity maturation, pH sensitivity modification, bispecific antibody design, and functional interpretation.

In addition, XtalPi has completed a pipeline cooperation agreement with DoveTree, with a total order value of $5.99 billion, and has received the first payment of $51 million stipulated in the agreement, which has brought an evident incremental contribution to the company's performance. XtalPi has demonstrated remarkable expansion capabilities in technology application by sharing quantum physics computing, multimodal AI, and automation platforms, achieving cross-domain reuse of its technology platform. So far, its technology has successfully expanded into multiple fields such as new energy, agriculture, and industrial materials. In the new energy sector, XtalPi optimizes the molecular structure of battery materials through intelligent algorithms, improving the energy density and charge-discharge efficiency of batteries. In agriculture, AI technology is utilized to analyze crop growth environments and genetic traits, aiding in the cultivation of superior varieties. In the field of industrial materials, the microstructure of materials is simulated to develop new materials with better performance.

Public information shows that XtalPi is a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) andRobotXtalPi: A Technology Company Driving InnovationSince its establishment, XtalPi has been committed to achieving digital and intelligent transformation in the fields of life sciences and new materials. Leveraging technologies and capabilities such as quantum physics, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and large-scale robotic experimentation systems, the company has built a comprehensive R&D system. In drug discovery, XtalPi pioneered a new model that integrates intelligent computation, automated experimentation, and expert knowledge, creating a tripartite R&D platform. This platform provides end-to-end services ranging from small molecule drug discovery to large molecule drug discovery, offering global biopharmaceutical companies an efficient, integrated solution for drug discovery.

In small molecule drug discovery, the "trinity" research model based on intelligent computing, automated experiments, and expert experience covers the complete process from target identification to obtaining PCC (Preclinical Candidate Compound) through four major technology platforms: xtalcryo™ for target validation, xcelahit™ for molecular design, xceptionopt™ for drug-likeness optimization, and xceldev™ for developability optimization. In large molecule drug discovery, supported by four antibody discovery technology platforms—xtradoma™ hybridoma platform, xpeedplay™ phage display, xploreseq™ immune repertoire sequencing, and xupernova™ de novo design—and powered by two core technology segments, xactdesign™ antibody engineering and xceldev™ drug-likeness optimization, AI algorithms are organically integrated with wet lab experiments, providing end-to-end capabilities from target identification to lead antibody drug discovery.

In terms of automation business, XtalPi has also achieved remarkable results. Since embarking on the self-developed exploration of laboratory intelligence and automation in 2019, it has successfully applied automation to industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and testing. Currently, it possesses independent automated workstations, desktop smart instruments, customized automation solutions, and an automated laboratory cluster platform. Its general-purpose automation products include XmartChem™ Intelligent Synthesis Workstation, XtalComplete™ Intelligent Crystallization Workstation, ChemPlus™ Desktop Solid Dispensing Instrument, etc.; meanwhile, it can also provide customized automation solutions on demand, such as functional material synthesis and characterization automation systems, fully automated systems for pesticide residue detection in food, and pharmaceutical quality control automation systems, which have already started to be implemented in application areas like petrochemicals and materials.

XtalPi Actively Cooperates with Universities to Promote an Innovation-Oriented Collaborative Model Involving Multiple Entities in Industry, Academia, Research, and Application. For instance, XtalPi has reached another significant collaboration with China Pharmaceutical University. Relying on XtalPi's self-developed capabilities in AI technology within the field of drug research and development, as well as its experience in industrial application, the company will gradually open up its self-developed AI drug discovery technology platform to all teachers and students in the university. Currently, the first phase of the software deployment has been completed, and the drug patent intelligent analysis software PatSight is now fully operational. Through such collaborations, XtalPi not only helps universities enhance their scientific research and teaching standards but also provides new ideas and directions for the optimization and expansion of its own technology.

Looking ahead, with the continuous development and application of AI technology globally, XtalPi is expected to maintain its position in the AI pharmaceuticals and related industries by leveraging its technological advantages, extensive cooperation network, and constantly expanding business areas. Its innovative model and successful experience in drug research and development will also provide valuable reference for the development of the entire industry, driving the global drug R&D process into a new era of intelligence.
