On September 22, AusperBio, a member of the CDH family, is a clinical-stage innovative drug company focused on the research and development of proprietary targeted delivery small nucleic acid drugs with the core goal of "achieving clinical cure for chronic hepatitis B."Today, it announced the completion of a US$63 million Series B2 round of financing, with CDH VGC continuing to increase its investment.
This round of financing was led by Qiming Venture Partners in collaboration with globally renowned industry investment institutions, with participation from several top-tier investment firms in China, including DCM VGC, H&Q China Capital, OrbiMed China, Sherpa Healthcare Partners, and Vivo Capital.This is AusperBio's second round of financing successfully completed in 2025, bringing the company's total financing amount for the year to exceed 1.13 billion US dollars.
The funds raised in this round will be mainly invested in the core development areas of AusperBio, covering three major directions: First, accelerating the clinical trial process of the core product —— AHB-137, an innovative antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) drug for achieving clinical cure of chronic hepatitis B. This includes Phase III clinical trials conducted in China, Phase II clinical trials for combination therapy and treatment-naïve patients, as well as overseas Phase II clinical trials being carried out simultaneously. Second, advancing the commercialization and industrialization construction of AHB-137 ahead of time to lay the foundation for its smooth market entry and benefit hepatitis B patients globally in the future. Third, continuously expanding the company’s innovative pipeline research and development while strengthening the construction of professional teams both domestically and internationally, accumulating core technologies and talent resources for long-term corporate growth.
