Currently, the most core aspect of AusperBio isMed-Oligo™ Technology Platform, this technologyThe initial application focused on the hepatitis B virus. (HBV) Treatment has now expanded to a wide range of severe chronic diseases in humans.

AHB-137 is a non-conjugated antisense oligonucleotide developed based on this platform.(ASO), with the potential to becomeCornerstone Therapy for Clinical Cure of Chronic Hepatitis Bpotential. Currently, the drug is undergoing Phase III clinical trials in mainland China, Phase II clinical trials for combination therapy and treatment-naive patients, while simultaneously advancing overseas Phase II clinical trials.

AHB-137 has been studied in preclinical research and presented at multiple international authoritative academic conferences.(Including 2023–2025 EASL, 2024 AASLD, and 2025 APASL)Demonstrated excellent data and gained widespread attention.

At the 2025 EASL Conference, AusperBio disclosed the product for the first time.IIPhase b Clinical Interim Data.

This study enrolled a total of 64 subjects, who were randomly assigned to receive AHB-137 300 mg for either 24 weeks or 16 weeks of treatment. The primary endpoint of the study is hepatitis B surface antigen at the end of the treatment period.(HBsAg)Below the lower limit of quantitation(<0.05 IU/mL)And Hepatitis B Virus(HBV)DNA Levels Below the Limit of Quantification(<10 IU/mL)

Data shows,

  • In the 24-week treatment group, 75% of the subjects reached this primary endpoint; in the 16-week treatment group, 66% of the subjects reached this primary endpoint.

  • Among the subjects who reached the primary endpoint,More than 80% of subjects achieved HBsAg clearance within 12 weeks of treatment., and at the end of treatment, 54% and 33% of subjects in the 24-week and 16-week groups, respectively, achieved seroconversion of hepatitis B surface antibodies.

  • AHB-137 demonstrated good tolerability and effective safety in both treatment groups.
