Recently, Dano Technology completed a nearly RMB 10 million angel round from TigerYeah Capital. The proceeds will be mainly used to upgrade Dano Technology's Smart series of AI platform products — "digital employees" built for pharmaceutical scenarios — so that they better match the pharmaceutical industry's regulatory and compliance requirements. The funding will also support biopharmaceutical companies in data governance and project management, improving their overall work quality and efficiency.
Dano Technology was founded in April 2026 and is committed to advancing the adoption of trusted AI in the life sciences. Its SmartPV and SmartTrial platforms are already live, and the company has completed the training and delivery of dozens of digital employees built on these platforms.
In the AI era, a deep understanding of vertical-domain business is the foundation for developing products quickly and meeting customer needs — and this is precisely where Dano Technology's strength lies. The team is made up of interdisciplinary talent who understand both technology and business: they are not only proficient in cutting-edge technologies but also have a deep grasp of business logic and industry pain points, and can move freely between the language of technology and the language of business. Precisely because of this, the team can both explain complex technical solutions clearly and translate real business needs into precise technical roadmaps, so that innovation truly lands and creates measurable value for customers.
In Dano Technology's view, genuinely useful AI should be trustworthy and able to work like a company employee. When designing digital employees, therefore, the team gives full consideration to collaboration between AI and people, with the goal of "solving everything that can be clearly articulated, so that professionals can devote more energy to balancing benefit and risk."
At present, Dano Technology has established partnerships with a number of pharmaceutical companies and CROs at home and abroad. This round of funding will support the company in accelerating the upgrade of its products and services, bringing more deployable AI solutions to the industry.
Wan Bangxi (William), founder of Dano Technology, said: "I thank TigerYeah Capital for its trust, and I also thank the customers, peers, and leaders who have always cared about us. We will continue to uphold the spirit of 'Danuo and innovation,' exploring earnestly and practicing solidly, and striving to form best practices for trusted AI applications. We look forward to working with industry partners to create more digital employees and to provide them with more professional and thorough 'training', growing together through collaboration, advancing the industrial adoption of AI, and ultimately benefiting patients and clinical trial participants."
Dr. Ji Tianrong, founder and general manager of TigerYeah Capital, said: "The founder of Dano Technology has worked deeply in the field of pharmacovigilance for nearly two decades. Drawing on deep experience in frontline development and compliance management, he has led the team to focus on continuous innovation in pharmacovigilance software and services. Leveraging the SmartPV platform, companies can quickly build a pharmacovigilance system that meets Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP) requirements, using scientific and digital means to achieve risk warning and closed-loop management, and effectively improving the operational efficiency and compliance performance of pharmaceutical R&D companies. We hope Danuo will continue to strengthen its product and service capabilities and remain committed to building more reliable and more intelligent digital solutions for the life sciences industry."
