Zhejiang Medlink Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Medlink Medical"), in order to accelerate the R&D iteration of its brain-computer interface (BCI) rehabilitation products, expand production capacity, and advance its nationwide market layout, has recently completed a RMB 100 million Series B round, jointly invested by Shanghai Chuangda Industry Control High-Tech Group Co., Ltd. and GSR United Capital.

Founded in 2018, Medlink Medical is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the innovation and application of BCI technology in the medical rehabilitation field. The company is leading the construction of China's first provincial-level engineering research center in the BCI rehabilitation field. In 2024, the company's self-developed BCI rehabilitation training system was jointly selected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Health Commission and successfully included in the first batch of the High-End Medical Equipment Promotion and Application Program — and was also the only rehabilitation-sector project selected in this round of assessment. R&D personnel account for more than 50% of the company's workforce, with core members from well-known universities such as Zhejiang University.

As the first company in China to obtain a medical device registration certificate for BCI motor rehabilitation, Medlink Medical is deeply engaged in the non-implantable BCI rehabilitation field. It has obtained Class II medical device registration certificates for six models, with its products covering more than 20 devices. Medlink Medical's BCI-related rehabilitation equipment has been deployed at the Chinese PLA General Hospital, the Beijing Corps Hospital of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force, Wangjing Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital affiliated with Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Gem Flower Medical Group, and Zhengzhou University, among others. Its products have entered more than 150 hospitals nationwide, treated more than 100,000 patients in total, and reached a 40% share in public tendering in 2025, firmly securing its leadership in this niche segment.

The company has long focused on the application of non-invasive BCI in the precise diagnosis and treatment of emotional and affective disorders, brain disease rehabilitation, and long-term care. Through technical solutions and real-world application demonstrations, it aims to advance the innovation and implementation of brain health monitoring, closed-loop monitoring and intervention for emotional disorders, assisted brain disease rehabilitation, and long-term care services. According to statistics from the "China Stroke Prevention and Treatment Report," China has more than 28 million prevalent stroke patients, and about 75% of stroke survivors are left with varying degrees of motor, swallowing, and other functional impairments, often accompanied by comorbidities. Facing this severe prevention and treatment challenge, the company takes "motor + swallowing" as its breakthrough point to build an integrated non-invasive multifunctional BCI system covering diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term care, directly targeting four major bottlenecks: decoding accuracy, evidence-based validation, in-hospital and out-of-hospital continuity, and medical insurance reimbursement.

At the same time, through technological reserves in frontier BCI directions and interdisciplinary collaboration, the company is generating products such as a sleep and cognitive intervention ecosystem platform that integrates non-invasive BCI with generative AI, a rehabilitation system built on a brain–EMG fusion closed-loop neural interface for post-stroke dysphagia, and products for brain-controlled embodied intelligence, health monitoring, and early warning.

Dr. Cui Zhengzhe, founder of Medlink Medical, said, "This round of financing is an important milestone in the company's development. We will accelerate the building of a multimodal BCI neuromodulation large model, extend our products from hospitals to community and home rehabilitation settings, and enable BCI technology to benefit more patients."

A representative of the investors said that Medlink Medical has leading technological strength and a well-developed registration certificate system in the non-invasive BCI rehabilitation field, with deep clinical data accumulation, and that the investors are optimistic about its potential to lead the industry's development.
