Brain-Computer Interface and Neuromodulation Technology Developer

Investment Institutions in the Greater Health Field
Neurorevix has recently closed an angel round of tens of millions of yuan. The round was led by HSG, with participation from YuanMing Brain Science Fund.
This marks another backing from a leading industry institution for Neurorevix, following its seed round of tens of millions of yuan in March this year, funded by the Star Future Fund under Fosun Pharma's Fosun Health Capital, among others. WinX Capital assisted with this round and serves as the company's exclusive financial advisor for subsequent financings.
Neurorevix is an innovative medical device company focused on brain-computer interface (BCI) and neuromodulation technologies. Around its "BCI + precision closed-loop modulation of nerve fascicles" technology platform, the company has built a portfolio spanning flexible electrodes, BCI-specific chips, and adaptive closed-loop algorithms, aiming to advance the platform technology from clinical needs toward the development of a series of globally First in Class products and their industrialization.
Building on its globally original "BCI + precision closed-loop modulation of nerve fascicles" technology platform and full-stack in-house R&D capabilities covering "flexible electrodes, dedicated chips, and adaptive closed-loop algorithms," Neurorevix provides innovative therapeutic solutions to the hundreds of millions of patients with brain and neurological disorders worldwide, reshaping the treatment paradigm for neurological and psychiatric dysfunction.
Notably, Neurorevix was officially founded in 2025 and is a rising player in the BCI field. So why, against the backdrop of an accelerating BCI industry, has a company just one year old been able to secure consecutive support from industrial capital and leading investment institutions?
Focusing on BCI + Neuromodulation Technologies to Build a Globally Innovative Product Portfolio
Neurorevix has anchored its sights on the core technology direction of next-generation neuromodulation: precision closed-loop modulation of nerve fascicles.
The technology uses highly selective neural electrodes to identify and stimulate target nerve fascicles, while combining physiological signals and movement-outcome feedback to dynamically adjust stimulation parameters and timing.
Unlike conventional stimulation approaches that mainly act on the nerve trunk or on larger areas of tissue, its emphasis is on improving stimulation selectivity, individual adaptability, and long-term stability — pushing neuromodulation from relatively crude open-loop stimulation toward precision, closed-loop, and personalized approaches.
Around this core technology direction, Neurorevix has progressively built full-stack in-house R&D capabilities covering flexible electrodes, dedicated BCI chips, and adaptive closed-loop algorithms, and has formed a globally innovative product matrix.
In the field of invasive neuromodulation, Neurorevix has taken the lead in developing a BCI-based system for reconstructing post-stroke hand motor function. Targeting patients with moderate-to-severe upper-limb motor dysfunction after stroke, the product builds a closed-loop neuromodulation technology system around "movement intention recognition — precision nerve fascicle stimulation — motor feedback," aiming to translate a patient's voluntary movement intention into precise stimulation of specific nerve fascicles and muscle groups, helping restore grasping, extension, and fine finger movements.
Unlike conventional technical routes that rely mainly on single-muscle or exoskeleton assistance, Neurorevix focuses more on the selective modulation of different functional nerve fascicles within a peripheral nerve. While reducing co-activation of non-target muscle groups, it achieves differential recruitment of different hand muscle groups and movement patterns, providing a technical basis for reconstructing fine movements such as finger flexion and extension, grasping, and release.
On the implanted electrode side, Neurorevix focuses on developing flexible, self-curling electrodes and supporting implant structures. Wrapping around the nerve along its natural morphology, they minimize mechanical compression and chronic tissue irritation while improving the long-term conformal stability of the electrode–nerve interface. Through multi-contact electrode design and refined stimulation parameter control, the system further provides the hardware basis for fascicle-level selective stimulation and long-term stable implantation.
For movement intention recognition, the system fuses multimodal bioelectrical signals and establishes a tiered intention recognition strategy based on the patient's residual motor ability. As the patient's motor function recovers, it balances the weights of different bioelectrical signals in motion recognition and closed-loop control, enabling the system to adapt to different stages, from in-hospital rehabilitation to long-term functional training.
On this basis, Neurorevix has built a complete closed loop of "movement intention recognition — signal acquisition — motion decoding — precision nerve fascicle stimulation — movement execution — signal and motion feedback." The system not only triggers the corresponding neural stimulation based on what the patient "wants to do," but also dynamically adjusts parameters such as stimulation channels, intensity, pulse width, frequency, and timing according to the post-stimulation EMG response and the actual movement outcome, forming a closed-loop control mechanism.
The essence of this technical route is expected to enable immediate motor reconstruction while creating conditions for long-term neuroplasticity training and recovery of voluntary motor function, forming a technical path distinct from that of standalone functional electrical stimulation (FES) devices.
In validation with non-human primates to date, the system has achieved differential recruitment of different hand muscle groups and completed designated movements such as grasping and extension, preliminarily validating the complete technical chain from movement intention to peripheral nerve stimulation to motor output; in designated movement tasks set with reference to the Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) framework for upper-extremity motor function, the system has essentially achieved all movements.
Leveraging Tiantan Hospital to Connect Clinical Innovation with Industrial Translation
Neurorevix's rapid advance in the BCI and neuromodulation fields would not have been possible without the joint support of clinical resources and the industrial capital ecosystem.
On the clinical side, Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University, serves as an important clinical anchor for Neurorevix's BCI and neuromodulation technology innovation.
As a national-level medical center specializing in neuroscience, Beijing Tiantan Hospital has rich resources for the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases and a strong clinical research foundation. Neurorevix and Beijing Tiantan Hospital have jointly established the "Tiantan–Neurorevix Joint Laboratory of Brain-Computer Interface," and the two parties will work together on product definition, key technology validation, prototype system evaluation, clinical study design, and translation of research results, centering on unmet clinical needs in neurological diseases.

The core value of the joint laboratory lies in establishing a two-way feedback mechanism between clinical experts and the engineering R&D team: frontline clinicians raise real needs, the engineering team forms product solutions accordingly, and these return to clinical settings for validation and iteration — thereby improving the translation efficiency of BCI innovation.
The company was incubated by the Star Future Fund under Fosun Pharma's Fosun Health Capital, receiving support in industrial synergy, medical resource matching, domestic and overseas channel development, clinical registration, and commercialization, which helps its pipeline products move steadily from the R&D stage toward clinical registration and commercial launch at home and abroad.
Going forward, Neurorevix will continue to refine its underlying technology platform in areas such as advanced flexible array neural electrodes, BCI-specific chips, and neural signal decoding and closed-loop modulation algorithms, while exploring frontier directions such as distributed BCI and visual function restoration in response to patients' real needs. Tiantan Hospital's clinical research capabilities and Neurorevix's engineering capabilities together form the core foundation for the company to keep incubating innovative products and driving industrial translation.
