Roche announced that its AI-basedKidney Klinrisk AlgorithmObtainedEU CE Certification. This algorithm was developed by Roche in collaboration with the medical AI companyKlinRiskCo-developed to assess the risk of progressive decline in renal function in patients.

Roche said that this algorithm will be used as the companyNavify Algorithm SuiteNewly Introduced in ChinaChronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Algorithm PanelPart of the launch, helping clinicians assess the risk of patients' renal function deterioration at an early stage of the disease, or even in asymptomatic phases.
The algorithm panel includes:
KlinRisk Algorithm: Used to assess adult patients with confirmed chronic kidney disease, as well as individuals with diabetes or hypertension who are at high risk of declining kidney function.
Kidney KFRE Algorithm (CE Certified): Used for the management of advanced stages of chronic kidney disease.
Roche introduced that this solution "combines multiple indicators from routine blood and urine tests and aligns with clinical guidelines," providing decision support for doctors throughout the course of the disease.
Currently, the algorithm panel has been implemented inEurope and the UKLaunch, and subsequently will be gradually promoted toU.S., Middle East and Asian Markets。
Roche Diagnostics CEO Matt Sause stated, "This panel is designed to help doctors make more informed decisions at all stages of chronic kidney disease, particularly providing early risk assessment for high-risk populations such as those with diabetes and hypertension, promoting early detection and intervention."
