Sanofi and EVOQ Therapeutics Enter $500M+ Collaboration to Advance NanoDisc-Based Autoimmune Disease Therapies

October 16,Chicago, EVOQ Therapeutics (EVOQ), a biotechnology company focused on providing transformative treatments for patients with autoimmune diseases, announced a collaboration and licensing agreement with Sanofi to develop new autoimmune drugs.EVOQ and Sanofi will collaborate on research activities, with Sanofi also taking responsibility for global development and commercialization. EVOQ is eligible to receive over $500 million in upfront, preclinical, development, and sales milestones, as well as tiered royalties on product sales.

EVOQ's proprietary breakthrough NanoDisc technology restores the body's natural immune tolerance pathway and opens the door to a wide range of disease-specific treatments for various autoimmune diseases, such as celiac disease, type 1 diabetes, MOG (myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein) antibody disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and lupus.
