Professor Gang Wu from the First People's Hospital of ShanghaiAround "The Application Advantages of PFA Combined with LAAC in One-Stop Atrial Fibrillation Treatment",Starting from the three core injury characteristics of PFA technology — "tissue selectivity, non-thermal damage, and delayed effect" — systematically demonstrate the clinical compatibility of one-stop surgery combining PFA with LAAC, and confirm that PFA technology is more suitable for this combined procedure than radiofrequency ablation. Through clinical case sharing, he proposed the operational principle of "ablation first, then occlusion," and affirmed the ablation efficacy and safety of PFA technology based on practical experience.

During the discussion session, Professor Chen Jiulin from Qianxinan Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical UniversityProfessor Lin Jie from the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical UniversityChangdeProfessor Luo Li from the First People's Hospital of the CityProfessor Wu-Yang Zheng from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen UniversityIn-depth discussions were held around three core topics: First, the choice of anesthesia methods and optimization of anesthetic drug dosages during PFA procedures; second, precise prevention and control strategies for intraoperative complications; third, integration pathways for new technologies with existing surgical workflows. The experts unanimously agreed that when introducing new technologies into clinical practice, established surgical habits should not be overly altered. Instead, smooth and minor procedural adjustments should be made to achieve integration, enhancing patient comfort during surgery while reducing the incidence of postoperative complications and improving patients' long-term quality of life.

Future Outlook: Making "Chinese Technology" Accessible Worldwide

The successful hosting of this ShineyoMedical RhythPulse® Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) New Technology Application Symposium not only achieved the in-depth integration and sharing of clinical experience with PFA technology but also clarified the optimization direction and clinical value of domestically produced PFA technology. ShineyoMedical’s circular and large focal point PFA catheters, with structural innovation and performance advantages, provide an excellent option for atrial fibrillation treatment. In the future, with the continuous iteration of China-produced PFA technology and the deepening of clinical applications, it will further enhance the electrophysiological diagnosis and treatment standards in China, offering higher quality medical services to a broad range of patients with atrial fibrillation, and contributing to the high-quality development goal of cardiovascular disease diagnosis and treatment.

【ShineyoMedical RhythPulse®-PFA System】

ShineyoMedical's RhythPulse®-PFA System is the first approved Pulse Field Ablation (PFA) system in China that integrates multi-channel, large focal, and targeted ablation, primarily used for treating drug-refractory and recurrent atrial fibrillation and other types of rapid arrhythmias. Its core advantages include:

Large Focal Design:Using the world's first 10mm ring ablation catheter, a single discharge can cover a lesion area with a diameter of 10mm, improving the ablation efficiency by more than three times compared to traditional technology.

Targeted Ablation Technology:Equipped with an intelligent contact detection module, it monitors the contact status between the electrode and myocardial tissue in real time, reducing the risk of hemolysis caused by ineffective discharges, and decreasing postoperative plasma free hemoglobin content by 50%.

Clinical Validation Excellence:In a clinical trial involving 151 cases, the immediate success rate was 100%, and the success rate for atrial fibrillation treatment at 12 months post-operation reached 85.07%, meeting internationally leading standards.
