Recently,Shenzhen Bao'an People's HospitalAs one of the first clinical application units in China, byDirector Fang Xianhongand the teamApplication of AccuPulse by AccuPulse Medical®Single-use Cardiac Pulsed Field Ablation Catheter and AccuBlator®The cardiac pulsed field ablation system successfully performed a pulsed field ablation (PFA) procedure on a patient with atrial fibrillation.

The successful completion of the surgery not only marks the official entry of this innovative PFA system made in China into the clinical application stage, but also, with its three core advantages of integrated circular catheter mapping and modeling, efficient ablation, and excellent safety, provides a better option for atrial fibrillation interventional treatment.

Case Summary

Image

The patient is a 69-year-old male with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. Based on the preoperative examination data, the operator selected a catheter with an adjustable loop diameter of 15-20mm, which perfectly matched the patient's 33mm left atrial structure. It was able to flexibly cover different pulmonary vein ostia and vestibule areas, ensuring the continuity and completeness of the ablation.

The total operation time was only 86 minutes, during which the operator performed a total of 144 ablations on the LSPV, LIPV, RSPV, RIPV, and SVC, with a total ablation time of 25.2 seconds, achieving 100% pulmonary vein isolation. This demonstrates the superior ablation efficiency and safety of the AccuPulse cardiac pulse ablation system catheter.

Expert Commentary

Director Fang gave a positive evaluation of the AccuPulse Cardiac Pulse Ablation System used in this surgical procedure. He fully affirmed the system's effectiveness and reliability in paroxysmal atrial fibrillation ablation surgeries. Director Fang noted that the overall operation of the system is convenient, with an efficient PFA ablation process, completing all pulmonary vein isolations within 29 minutes. Particularly commendable is the excellent performance of the catheter control, which fully meets the various requirements of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation surgery. He looks forward to the system accumulating more successful experiences in future clinical applications.

About AccuPulse Cardiac Pulse Ablation System

Flexible Adaptation, Precise Contact:Its unique 7.5F adjustable loop diameter design can flexibly match the pulmonary vein anatomy of different patients, achieving personalized adaptation and significantly improving the adaptability and safety of the operation.

Intelligent docking, real-time feedback:The system is equipped with AccuPulse's independently developed impedance contact prompting technology, which can monitor the catheter-tissue contact quality in real time, clearly indicate the contact status, assist operators in achieving stable and reliable catheter manipulation, and provide a solid guarantee for precise ablation.

Efficient Integration, Streamlined Processes:The circular catheter integrates mapping, modeling, and ablation functions, rapidly constructing a three-dimensional electroanatomical model of the heart during surgery, accurately locating lesions, and significantly reducing reliance on additional high-density mapping catheters in traditional procedures. This not only decreases surgical complexity but also saves on consumable costs, providing atrial fibrillation patients with a safer, more effective, and less invasive treatment option.

AccuPulse's newly approved single-use cardiac pulsed field ablation catheter has overcome the challenges of stability and anatomical adaptability in PFA ablation catheters, providing a precise and reliable solution for pulmonary vein isolation (PVI).®The unique 7.5F adjustable loop diameter design of the cardiac pulsed field ablation catheter allows for flexible adaptation to pulmonary vein ablation in different anatomical structures. Intelligent contact indication and flexible electrode selection give operators complete control, enabling precise pulsed field ablation!

Safer:7.5F Ultra-Fine Catheter, Reducing Tissue Damage

More Stable:Smart Snap Tips for More Precise Operation

More flexible:Adjustable loop diameter (15-20mm or 20-25mm) to meet different clinical choices.
