On October 27, Daiichi Sankyo announced that the DESTINY-Lung06, a Phase III, multicenter, randomized, open-label trial comparing trastuzumab deruxtecan in combination with pembrolizumab versus platinum-based chemotherapy plus pembrolizumab for the first-line treatment of patients with locally advanced unresectable or metastatic human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-overexpressing and programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) tumor proportion score (TPS) <50% nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), has dosed its first participant in China. The study is planned to be conducted across approximately 250 trial sites in North America, Asia, Europe, and Latin America, with an expected enrollment of about 686 participants.
