Medtronic Launches First Digital Healthcare Innovation Hub in China to Advance AI-Driven Medical Solutions

Recently, the Medtronic Digital Healthcare Innovation Hub and Medtronic Museum officially opened at the Beijing International Medical Innovation Park (BioPark). This significant milestone not only represents Medtronic's further solidification of its full value chain presence in China but also focuses on driving breakthrough innovations in China’s digital healthcare sector, injecting new momentum into the global intelligent healthcare industry.

Relevant leaders from the Beijing Municipal Health Commission and the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Zone Management Committee, Gu Yushao (Medtronic's Global Senior Vice President and Greater China President), as well as Medtronic's Greater China leadership team attended the event.

It also aims to create a patient care center that introduces digital technology to enhance the service level of patient prevention and management. Through this platform, Medtronic hopes to explore a new model of patient-centered smart healthcare, offering more personalized, intelligent, and efficient treatment options. At the same time, it seeks to transform China's medical practices into innovative models with global demonstration significance.

The base is specially equipped with the "Medtronic Museum," which features four main exhibition areas: "Rhythm of Life, Central Universe, Future Surgery, and Intelligent Healthcare." These exhibits vividly present the evolution and breakthroughs in medical technology, unveiling the mysteries of medical science for the public. It also creates an immersive exploration space for teenagers, planting the seeds for the pursuit of medical advancement, aiming to serve the dual purpose of popular science education and the dissemination of health concepts.

As an important extension of Medtronic's global R&D system, this base is positioned as a key hub connecting global innovation power with local ecosystem partners in China. Driven by artificial intelligence at its core, it aims to promote China’s innovative practices in the field of digital healthcare to the world, building a more efficient and inclusive healthy future.
