MindRank Secures $52 Million Series B Funding to Advance AI-Designed Oral GLP-1RA MDR-001 Toward Commercialization

On July 8, MindRank announced the phased completion of a cumulative $52 million Series B financing round. According to the company, the proceeds from this round will be primarily invested in deep technical iterations of its proprietary, end-to-end AI drug discovery engine, MAP, to further enhance its industry-leading multi-agent collaborative system and clinical data closed-loop, while also advancing the development of its proprietary oral small-molecule GLP-1 candidate, MDR-001Phase III clinical development to commercialization.

Public information indicates that MDR-001 officially entered Phase III clinical trials in 2025, becoming China’s first AI-enabled Class I innovative drug to advance to the Phase III clinical stage, with commercial launch expected within the next two to three years. (The Paper reporter Li Xiaoxiao)
