Intended Use of the Product

The magnetic resonance-guided semiconductor laser therapy system, used in conjunction with a single-use laser fiber kit, is intended for laser ablation of localized lesions in patients with drug-resistant epilepsy (focal seizures with a well-defined epileptogenic zone or a clear epileptic pathway). The stereotactic surgical planning software, used in combination with the magnetic resonance-guided semiconductor laser therapy system, is applied for creating head stereotactic surgical plans.
