It is reported that these resolutions must still be voted on by the House of Representatives. However, Republican members of the House have repeatedly blocked legislative actions to overturn tariffs in the past, and these resolutions are expected to face significant difficulty in obtaining a vote in the House.Even if the House of Representatives eventually passes it, Congress still needs a two-thirds absolute majority to overturn this policy.
