On November 4, according to Eisai, MSD and Eisai recently announced that the Phase III LITESPARK-011 trial evaluating the combination of Belzutifan, the first oral hypoxia-inducible factor-2α (HIF-2α) inhibitor, and Lenvatinib, an orally administered multi-receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) developed by Eisai, has met one of the primary endpoints of progression-free survival (PFS) in patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) whose disease progressed during or after treatment with anti-PD-1/L1 therapy.
