On November 4, Dispatch Bio, a biotechnology company developing universal therapies for solid tumors using its proprietary Flare platform, announced a clinical supply and collaboration agreement with Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) to support the development of Dispatch’s DISP-10 program. Under the agreement, BMS will provide idecabtagene vicleucel (ide-cel), a BCMA-targeted CAR-T therapy, for Dispatch's first U.S. Phase I clinical trial. The trial is expected to launch in 2026.

DISP-10 is a novel investigational product composed of two components, designed to address the challenges of solid tumor treatment. The first component, DV-10, is a tumor-specific virus genetically engineered to deliver modified B-cell maturation antigen (dBCMA), along with IL-18 and CXCL-9, to the surface of tumor cells. This "paints" synthetic antigens onto the tumor cells, reshaping the tumor microenvironment to support T-cell function and enhance T-cell migration into the tumor. The second component is ide-cel, Bristol-Myers Squibb's autologous CAR-T cell therapy targeting BCMA. In the planned study, patients with epithelial-derived solid tumors (accounting for 90% of all solid tumors) will first receive DV-10 treatment, followed by ide-cel treatment. Dispatch Biotherapeutics will lead and execute this research.

Naveen Bazaj, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Dispatch Biotherapeutics, stated:"The collaboration with Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, the global leader in cell therapy and an early investor in Dispatch Biotherapeutics, fully demonstrates the tremendous potential of our Flare platform and scientific approach. This agreement marks the first company to secure clinical supply for autologous CAR-T cell therapy, enabling us to accelerate the development of the DISP-10 program, which is planned to enter clinical trials in 2026."
Dispatch Bio to Present Latest Preclinical Data Supporting DISP-10 at the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) 2025 Annual Meeting on November 5-9, 2025. The data show that DV-10 effectively delivers modified BCMA targets and immune-activating factors (IL-18 and CXCL9) to solid tumor cells, achieving potent CAR T-cell activation and tumor clearance both in vitro and in vivo, without damaging normal tissues.
