Blue Whale News learned that several globally leading pharmaceutical companies, including MSD, AstraZeneca, Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly, and Gilead Sciences, have showcased advanced innovative therapies across various disease areas worldwide. Multiple executives expressed their intention to continue increasing investment in the Chinese market. AstraZeneca has added an investment of approximately $136 million to expand the production capacity of its Qingdao supply base. Gilead Sciences will present two products making their Asian debut: Lenacapavir, a long-acting HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis drug, and Seladelpar for primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), along with showcasing 13 innovative drugs launched in China. MSD is displaying about 30 approved drugs and vaccines within China. Eli Lilly has set up interactive experience zones such as the "Memory Café" and "Body Resistance Decoding Exhibition" to raise public awareness.
