Pfizer China I&I Business Head Jing Liu Departs Amid Organizational Restructuring

Recently, Pfizer China officially announced important personnel changes in the management of the Inflammation and Immunology Business Unit. The current General Manager of the Business Unit, Liu Jing, will step down to embark on a new journey of learning and development. Zhang Jianhui, the current General Manager of the Broad Market Business Unit, will temporarily take over this position to ensure a smooth business transition.

Public information shows that Liu Jing graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and previously served as an internal medicine physician at the Zhabei District Central Hospital in Shanghai, possessing a solid medical professional background.

Before joining Pfizer, Liu Jing worked at Sanofi China for nearly 8 years, holding several key positions such as Director of Oncology Marketing, Head of Oncology and Neuroscience Business Unit, General Manager of Cardiovascular and Established Products Division, and General Manager of Innovative and Core Business Unit. During this period, she was responsible for critical areas including oncology, neuroscience, cardiovascular, anticoagulation, nephrology, and blood transplantation, effectively enhancing the accessibility and brand growth of related products.

In addition, she alsoHeld key positions in several renowned pharmaceutical companies such as AstraZeneca, Merck, and Johnson & Johnson, accumulating comprehensive industry experience and management capabilities.

To ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities, Liu Jing will continue to serve in an advisory capacity until March 2026, assisting in the steady progress of related work.

To maintain the continuity and stability of the Inflammation and Immunology Business Unit, Pfizer China simultaneously announced that Zhang Jianhui, the current General Manager of the Greater Market Business Unit, will temporarily assume the role of General Manager of this business unit.

After assuming the new position, Zhang Jianhui will comprehensively lead the AD and AA business units of the Inflammation and Immunology Division, and will be responsible for overseeing the advancement of related businesses and the implementation of strategies.
