Gelonghui November 6 | Eli Lilly and Company announced that its experimental obesity treatment drug, eloralintide, demonstrated significant weight loss effects in Phase II clinical trials, with participants losing 9.5% to 20.1% of their body weight after 48 weeks. The study evaluated 263 adults who were either obese or overweight and had at least one obesity-related complication. All treatment groups met the primary endpoint, showing superior weight loss compared to the placebo group, which only lost 0.4% of body weight.
