Recently, the national finals of the 2025 "Data Element ×" Competition, hosted by the National Data Administration, were successfully held. After strict evaluation by experts, notarization by public notaries, and on-site supervision by representatives from relevant ministries,XtalPi2228.HKStanding out from 22,000 participating teams across China, the project "AI + Automation Technology Empowering Drug R&D Data Element Construction and Application" won the first prize.

The 2025 "Data Element ×" Competition, hosted by the National Data Administration in conjunction with the Central Cyberspace Administration, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and 19 other departments, is a national-level event focused on the development and application of data elements. It aims to advance the marketization and valorization of data elements, fully leveraging the positive role of the "Data Element ×" Competition in setting benchmarks, enhancing quality, and promoting development.


This competition, themed "Data Empowerment, Ascending through Multiplication," focuses on innovative applications of data elements across 13 industry sectors including industrial manufacturing, modern agriculture, and commerce circulation, while also featuring open innovation and international tracks. Since its launch in April, participants from all 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in China have been involved.Together with the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, regional qualifying rounds were carried out enthusiastically. It is reported that this year’s competition saw over 22,000 teams register nationwide. After provincial contests, nearly 900 projects were submitted for the national finals. Following initial and final evaluations in the national finals, projects were comprehensively scored based on advancement, effectiveness, and demonstration, ultimately awarding 183 winning projects.
