From November 5 to 10, 2025, the eighth China International Import Expo will be grandly held in Shanghai. At this year's CIIE, the Medical Devices and Healthcare Products Exhibition Area continues with the theme of "Healthy China, Better Life," showcasing internationally leading medical innovations, cutting-edge technologies, and services.
China National Medical Device Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CNMD"), a subsidiary of China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation, has participated in the CIIE-related activities for eight consecutive years. On the morning of November 7, Hu Jianwei, head of the China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (Sinopharm) trading delegation and Sinopharm's Vice General Manager, led a team to visit the medical device and healthcare exhibition area. They visited booths of key partners of Sinopharm’s medical device division, including Terumo, GE Healthcare, Johnson & Johnson Medical Technology, Edwards, Medtronic, Siemens, BD, Philips, Intuitive Fosun, and Wan Yite. The group engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge technology, high-end equipment, and precision medicine, jointly exploring new directions and opportunities for collaboration.
During the CIIE, China National Medical Device Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries signed tentative purchase agreements with 10 globally leading medical device companies, including Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson Medical Technology, GE Healthcare, Terumo, B. Braun, LivaNova, WanYiTe, Bayer, Edwards Lifesciences, and Agilent, demonstrating their sincere intention to cooperate with global trading partners through concrete actions. The signing was witnessed by leaders and guests, including Hu Jianwei.
