Huazhong Intelligent Finance APP, Hualan Co., Ltd. (301093.SZ) announced that Lingqing Digital Intelligence, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hualan, recently signed an investment agreement with Shenzhen XtalPi, XtalPi, Jingtai Zhiqi, Clickmab, Clickmab Antibody, and the shareholding platform. At the same time, Lingqing Digital Intelligence signed a shareholders' agreement with Shenzhen XtalPi, Clickmab, Clickmab Antibody, the shareholding platform, XtalPi, Jingtai Zhiqi, Biocytogen, Duckling, and Vibrant.

Clickmab, established in 2021, is a biotechnology company incubated by XtalPi Holdings, a global leader in AI-driven drug discovery. Clickmab focuses on utilizing generative AI models for antibody design. Leveraging millions of high-quality antibody-antigen pairing data generated from internal wet lab experiments, and relying on self-developed AI antibody design algorithms and AI agents powered by deep learning technologies, the company addresses core needs in antibody drug development by creating an efficient and precise AI antibody design platform. Clickmab aims to overcome the limitations of traditional animal immunization-based antibody discovery methods, providing innovative solutions for the development of antibody drugs and diagnostic antibodies, thereby accelerating the rapid development and technological innovation of next-generation antibody drugs.

Lingqing Digital Intelligence and Shenzhen Crystal Technology plan to jointly increase their capital investment in Clickmab. Among them, Lingqing Digital Intelligence intends to use its own funds of RMB 20 million to subscribe for the newly increased registered capital of Clickmab, further acquiring 9.53% of Clickmab's equity on a fully diluted basis after this transaction (corresponding to RMB 296,296 of Clickmab’s registered capital after the completion of this transaction, with the remainder recorded as Clickmab's capital reserve).

The announcement states that the global AI-driven innovative drug research and development sector is experiencing vigorous growth. Under this trend, China also urgently needs to cultivate local AI-driven innovative drug R&D enterprises with international competitiveness to actively participate in a new round of global pharmaceutical innovation competition. The "Suggestions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development" explicitly emphasizes advancing the construction of Digital China and comprehensively implementing the "Artificial Intelligence+" initiative. This overseas investment represents a strategic step by Hualan Corporation to respond to national strategy and enter the AI-driven innovative drug R&D field.
