Clinical Research on Herbal Steam Therapy

(1) Core Equipment of Dermatology[1]

Method:Select 90 patients with neurodermatitis from the Air Force Hospital of the Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in 2025, and divide them into a control group and a study group using a random number table method, with 45 cases in each group.

The control group was treated with clobetasol propionate cream.The research group adopted traditional Chinese medicine fumigation, oral traditional Chinese medicine combined with clobetasol propionate cream for treatment.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The EASI score, VAS score, DLQI score, peripheral blood Th1/Th2 cytokine levels, serum SP, MAO levels, and overall effects were compared between the two groups.

Results:After treatment, the EASI, VAS, and DLQI scores in the study group decreased compared to before treatment, and the scores in the study group were lower than those in the control group (all P<0.05). After treatment, the serum IFN-g and IL-2 levels in the study and control groups increased, while the IL-4 and IL-5 levels decreased (all P<0.05); the serum IFN-g and IL-2 levels in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the IL-4 and IL-5 levels were significantly lower than those in the control group (all P<0.05).

After treatment, the levels of serum SP and MAO in the study group and control group decreased, with the study group showing significantly lower levels of serum SP and MAO compared to the control group (both P<0.05); the total recovery rate in the study group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).

Conclusion:Qufeng Sanjie Decoction Combined with Chinese Herbal Fumigation and Clobetasol Propionate Cream in the Treatment of ND Can Shorten the Course of the Disease, Enhance Clinical Efficacy, and Improve Patients' Quality of Life。

(II) Breakthrough in the Treatment of Rheumatic Immune Diseases[2]

Method:In 2017, 88 RA patients from the Rheumatology and Immunology Department of Quanzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, affiliated with Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, were divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 44 cases in each. The control group received routine treatment.The treatment group was given Chinese herbal steam therapy on the basis of the control group's treatment methods.A 10-day treatment constitutes one course. After three courses of treatment, the improvement in TCM symptom scores and clinical effects were statistically analyzed for the two groups.

Results:After treatment, the TCM symptom scores in both groups were significantly reduced compared with those before treatment in the same group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Moreover, the reduction range in the treatment group was significantly greater than that in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total recovery rate was 93.18% in the treatment group and 70.45% in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant.Significance (P < 0.05).

Conclusion:Chinese Herbal Steam Therapy Can Improve TCM Symptom Scores in RA Patients and Enhance Overall Clinical Efficacy.

(III) The Nemesis of Gynecological Diseases[3]

Method:A total of 196 patients with adnexitis from the Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province, were selected as the research subjects and divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 98 cases, according to the random number expression method. The control group received routine Western medicine treatment.The observation group was given Chinese medicine fumigation treatment on the basis of the control group.Compare the clinical effects of two groups.

Results:The rehabilitation rate of the observation group was 97.95%, higher than that of the control group at 85.71%. The recurrence and adverse reactions in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).

Conclusion:The combination of Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine fumigation in the treatment of gynecological adnexitis shows significantly better effects than routine Western medicine treatment alone, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
