2025 Asian Heart Valve Conference - China Chapter

The 2025 Asian Heart Valve China Branch Conference was grandly held in Wuhan from November 21st to 23rd. This conference brought together top experts and scholars in the cardiovascular field from home and abroad to deeply discuss the frontier advancements and new development trends in the treatment of heart valve diseases. As an innovative representative in the industry, Valgen Medtech specially established a hands-on training camp for pure ultrasound-guided TEER during the conference, laying a solid practical foundation for the precise clinical implementation of pure ultrasound-guided technology.

The hands-on practice session was equally exciting. Wuhan University Zhongnan HospitalProfessor Wang ShuangLed on-site experts in conducting the "M-TEER Ultrasound Phantom Operation Practice," systematically showcasing the 28 standard cross-sections of transesophageal ultrasound examination and the 11 commonly used cross-sections during surgery, while providing detailed hands-on teaching guidance to help participants quickly master the identification and application techniques of core cross-sections. The concurrent operation practice using the DragonFly™ device simulator at the venue sparked a wave of hands-on enthusiasm. Participants deepened their technical understanding through personal operation, and their learning enthusiasm continued to rise, fully demonstrating their passion for exploring cutting-edge technologies.

The successful hosting of this training workshop not only facilitated in-depth discussions and experience sharing on pure ultrasound-guided M-TEER technology but also highlighted the robust capabilities of innovative Chinese-produced devices. As the first domestically developed transcatheter mitral valve clip system in China to receive dual certification from both "China and the EU," DragonFly™ stands out with its unique design features such as free-angle locking and a fully scaled system, alongside its ex vivo straddle marking.Innovative designs such as pre-adjusted orientation outside the body, coaxial marking for bending direction in large and medium sheaths, etc., form a deep adaptation with pure ultrasound guidance technology, providing operators with precise and efficient operational assurance.

In the future, Valgen Medtech will continue to focus on clinical needs as the core direction, deepen the integrated R&D of innovative devices, and empower clinicians through diversified academic exchanges and refined hands-on training. By strengthening the foundation for technology implementation, the company aims to make innovative medical technologies benefit more patients and promote high-quality development in the field of cardiovascular disease treatment.
