Recently, Yin Li, Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee, conducted a survey on the theme of "Strengthening Basic Research and Key Core Technology Breakthroughs" at Beijing Tiantan Hospital, affiliated with Capital Medical University, among other places. As one of the few innovative companies in China that focus on the full-chain R&D of invasive brain-computer interfaces, BCIFlex has internalized "maintaining leadership and striving for breakthroughs" as its development momentum since its establishment in 2022. The company is dedicated to the R&D of a new generation of brain-computer interface platforms based on invasive flexible electrodes.So far, the company has obtained more than 30 technical patents domestically and internationally, covering several core technologies of invasive brain-computer interfaces.

With a thickness of only micrometers, these electrodes enable precise signal acquisition at the neuronal level. Due to their high signal acquisition efficiency and stability, these electrodes give China a significant advantage in the international competition for high-end invasive brain-computer interfaces.

Secretary Yin Li further pointed out in the survey that it is necessary to strengthen original and leading scientific and technological research, actively undertake major national scientific and technological tasks, and promote breakthroughs in key core technologies across the entire chain.

This requirement is highly consistent with BCIFlex's development strategy of "achieving full-chain independent control from R&D to production."Currently, BCIFlex has established R&D laboratories for flexible electrodes, hardware systems, software and decoding algorithms, and implantation robots, and has self-built a clinical-grade micro-nano processing workshop and GMP workshop covering approximately two thousand square meters.Already possesses fully independent and controllable R&D, design, and large-scale production capabilities for clinical-grade brain-computer interface products.
