Bomi Pharmaceutical Announces ￥20M Angel Round

According to VCBeat, Suzhou Bomi Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd (“Bomi Pharmaceutical”) announced the completion of an RMB￥20 million angel round, jointly led by BOHE Angel Fund and Yonghua Capital. 

The funds raised will be mainly used to complete the isolation of targeted strains from healthy human body target, and conduct the functional verification and identification in the single-bacteria level of the stains, as well as the preliminary combination of bacteria according to the targeted indications.

Bomi Pharmaceutical is a biotechnology company focused on microbiome drug development. The founders of the company include microbiologists and senior personnel in the biomedical industry, leading a technology team specialized in biomedical big data and the development of companion diagnostic tests based on biomarkers. Bomi Pharmaceutical also has a science advisory team consisting of academicians and researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
