China Finance and Economics Network, December 9th: Yesterday, Beijing Jingmian Technology Co., Ltd. ("Jingmian Technology") held a project cooperation release conference at the Global College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Peking University.
Jingmian Technology Announces Successful First Round of Financing of 4 Million Yuan to Support the Launch of Artificial Intelligence Tremor Management Platform. Jingmian Technology stated that, starting from this press conference, it will accelerate the CFDA certification and mass production of the stabilizer gloves for Parkinson's disease and essential tremor; the pilot operation of the clinical research network for Parkinson's disease and essential tremor and the artificial intelligence tremor management platform in partner hospitals; and multi-center research on integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine clinical pathways, among other initiatives.

Thunderstorm Capital is the leading investor in this round of financing. Thunderstorm Capital highly values the project's innovation and social significance, believing it has the potential to reshape the home management ecosystem for tremor-related diseases.
At the press conference, Jingmian Technology launched its core product: a tremor stabilizer for Parkinson's disease and essential tremor, along with an artificial intelligence tremor management platform. The device, based on wearable inertial sensors and AI algorithms, can identify and suppress hand tremors and walking difficulties in real time, helping patients overcome life barriers and effectively improving their self-care abilities. Clinical tests show that this tremor stabilizer has an effective intervention rate of over 70% for various types of tremors, filling the market gap for non-invasive treatment technologies.
Data shows that Parkinson's disease and essential tremor are common neurodegenerative diseases. The "China Parkinson's Disease Report 2025" indicates that the number of people living with Parkinson's disease in China exceeds 5 million, accounting for approximately 43.14% of the global patient population, while deaths caused by Parkinson's disease account for about 23.71% globally. According to data cited in the "China Tremor Patient White Paper" released in 2023, the number of people in China suffering from essential tremor is over 10 million, placing the country among the highest in terms of tremor patient numbers worldwide.

On the same day, Jingmian Technology also announced strategic cooperation intentions with multiple national Class III Grade A hospitals to jointly build the "Clinical Research Network and Artificial Intelligence Tremor Management Platform for Parkinson's Disease and Essential Tremor." This network will integrate resources from neurology, surgery, rehabilitation, and traditional Chinese medicine departments to promote the standardization of diagnosis and treatment and data sharing.

Moreover, Jingmian Technology has begun to promote the establishment of the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Committee, building an academic exchange and scientific research transformation platform that integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine, which will also provide strong resource support for a large number of patients.

Jingmian Technology Chairman Xu Jialong proposed the concept of "A Clinical Research Network for Parkinson’s Disease and Essential Tremor and an AI-based Tremor Management Platform" during his keynote speech. The proposal includes three key aspects: Three-level Collaboration – full-course coverage from community screening via wearable devices, diagnosis at tertiary hospitals, to home-based rehabilitation management; Integration of Chinese and Western Medicine – combining Western neurological modulation techniques with traditional Chinese acupuncture and pharmacotherapy to create a personalized treatment database; Data-driven Approach – leveraging AI to analyze millions of tremor characteristics to optimize disease classification and prognosis prediction models.

Professor Song Haiqing from Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University, introduced the identification and treatment plans for various types of tremors with different causes in the speech "Identification and Management of Tremor," while also considering that the tremor suppressor released by Jingmian Technology provides a new tool for tremor diagnosis and treatment.

Chen Peng, Deputy Chief of the Acupuncture/Rehabilitation/Neurology Department at Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University, emphasized in his speech "Experiences in Acupuncture Treatment for Parkinson's Disease": "Acupuncture can significantly improve rigidity and gait disorders, forming a clear complementary effect with Western medical treatments. The combination of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine in treating Parkinson's disease is the future direction."
