Following the success of being one of the first centers in China to carry out the initial application,Professor Lai Hengli, Dean of the Cardiovascular Hospital of Jiangxi Provincial People's Hospital, Professor Tao Yu, Deputy Chief of Cardiology, and their teamSuccessfully Completed Another Case Using AccuPulse®Single-use Cardiac Pulsed Field Ablation Catheter and AccuBlator®Atrial Fibrillation Ablation Surgery with Cardiac Pulsed Field Ablation System.
The success of this surgery marks that the domestically innovative technology has achieved proficient and routine application at the People's Hospital of Jiangxi Province. The surgical process has been further optimized, with its three core advantages of integrated circular catheter mapping and modeling, efficient ablation, and excellent safety providing a better option for atrial fibrillation interventional treatment.
Case Summary
Different from the first exploratory application, the surgical team was more proficient and efficient this time based on prior experience. The patient was a 61-year-old male, and according to preoperative examinations, the surgeon selected the AccuPulse 20-25mm adjustable loop cardiac pulse field ablation catheter. The entire procedure maintained the inherent high safety of PFA technology, with a positive patient experience. The total duration of the surgery was only 91 minutes, smooth and highly efficient, once again demonstrating the outstanding value of the AccuPulse Cardiac Pulse Field Ablation System in clinical practice.

Schematic Diagram of Substrate Mapping Before and After Ablation
This surgery successfully completed venous puncture and atrial septal puncture, establishing a stable left atrial interventional access. Subsequently, a pulsed field ablation (PFA) catheter was inserted to complete the three-dimensional modeling of the left atrium and electrophysiological substrate mapping. The mapping results indicated the presence of a substrate-deficient area at the top of the patient's atrium.
Based on the above findings, the operator devised a hybrid ablation strategy: First, PFA was used to efficiently complete pulmonary vein electrical isolation (PVI) and modify the roof substrate; On this basis, radiofrequency ablation (RFA) was combined for meticulous touch-up, and ultimately linear ablation of the posterior wall of the lower pulmonary veins was completed, with the aim of achieving more thorough atrial substrate modification and long-term efficacy.
Expert Commentary
Professor Lai Hengli gave a positive evaluation of the clinical trial of the adjustable loop catheter this time. The continuous clinical trials indirectly reflect her recognition of the core advantages of AccuPulse's PFA product. The operator fully affirmed the significant advantages of the catheter in terms of operational feel and overall controllability, and from a clinical practical perspective, pointed out that when dealing with complex substrates or ensuring linear continuous ablation, it could be considered to use the loop catheter in conjunction with point ablation catheters to form a more comprehensive treatment plan.

About AccuPulse Cardiac Pulse Ablation System
Flexible Adaptation, Precise Adherence:Its unique 7.5F adjustable loop diameter design can flexibly match the pulmonary vein anatomy of different patients, achieving personalized adaptation and significantly enhancing the adaptability and safety of the procedure.
Intelligent docking, real-time feedback:The system is equipped with AccuPulse's independently developed impedance contact prompting technology, which can monitor the catheter-tissue contact quality in real time, clearly indicate the contact status, assist operators in achieving stable and reliable catheter manipulation, and provide a solid guarantee for precise ablation.
Efficient Integration, Streamlined Processes:The circular catheter integrates mapping, modeling, and ablation functions, rapidly constructing a three-dimensional electroanatomical model of the heart during surgery, precisely locating lesions, and significantly reducing the reliance on additional high-density mapping catheters in traditional surgeries. This not only decreases surgical complexity but also saves on consumable costs, providing atrial fibrillation patients with a safer, more effective, and less invasive treatment option.
Safer:7.5F Ultra-Fine Catheter, Reducing Tissue Damage

About Jiangxi Provincial People's Hospital
The Department of Cardiology at Jiangxi Provincial People's Hospital originated from the Cardiology Specialty Group established in 1954. By the early 1980s, it had evolved into an independent specialty with a primary focus on interventional surgical treatment, being the first discipline in the province to carry out cardiovascular interventional techniques. In the field of cardiovascular intervention, particularly in complex and high-risk lesion interventions and the interventional treatment of complicated arrhythmias, the department is recognized as having a leading level of expertise both nationally and internationally. The center leads the province in terms of surgical volume and medical service quality. Currently, the Department of Cardiology at Jiangxi Provincial People's Hospital serves as the Cardiovascular Disease Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Jiangxi Province and is a key provincial interventional discipline. In 2001, it was designated as the "Jiangxi Base of the Chinese Medical Association Cardiovascular Interventional Therapy Training Center"; in 2008, it was awarded the "Congenital Heart Disease Training Base for Cardiovascular Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment Technology" by the Ministry of Health, as well as the "Arrhythmia Intervention Training Base for Cardiovascular Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment Technology."
