Focusing on micro ultrasound-on-chip modules and systems, Sonosilicon relies on phased-array ASICs, silicon-based ultrasonic transducers, and edge computing-based ultrasound AI to build an independent technology chain from chips and modules to intelligent systems. As the only entity in China with self-research and development capabilities for 4D phased-array ultrasound imaging chips, and one of the few globally with an on-chip ultrasound closed-loop system, the company continuously promotes the localization of high-end ultrasound in China, filling industrial gaps in key areas such as large-scale phased-array ultrasound, 4D intracardiac echocardiography (4D-ICE), and micro-ring array intravascular ultrasound (R-IVUS). With its proprietary eMUTrix™ active phased-array ultrasound and flexible interconnect technology, the company is actively exploring cutting-edge applications such as wearable ultrasound patches and ultrasound brain-computer interfaces, providing next-generation life health monitoring and medical diagnostic solutions worldwide.

Vice President of International Business Development, Collaboration, and Strategic Investment at AstraZeneca, Chen Bing"We are delighted to lead the investment in Sonosilicon's current round of financing. As the integration of semiconductors and system-on-chip accelerates, medical imaging is moving towards a new phase of chip-based, modular, and intelligent solutions. Sonosilicon is continuously driving industry transformation by leveraging its core technology in the field of on-chip ultrasound. We look forward to the company pushing the boundaries of core technology while accelerating the industrial implementation of advanced ultrasound capabilities, bringing more forward-thinking solutions and long-term value to the medical imaging sector."

Shen Yuanjiang, Managing Director of CICC CapitalStated: "Since its establishment, Sonosilicon has focused on breaking through high-end ultrasound core technologies, demonstrating significant growth potential while showcasing forward-looking strategies in the development trends of next-generation ultrasound systems.
