On December 15, 2025, Byterna Therapeutics completed its Angel+ round of financing. This round was exclusively invested by the EF Burnt Fund, and the funds will be used to accelerate the IIT clinical research of the circular mRNA (cmRNA) in vivo CAR-T pipeline BR101.
Byterna Therapeutics was founded in June 2023. It is a biopharmaceutical innovation enterprise driven by AI, circular mRNA, and targeted tLNP technologies, focusing on the research and development of new drugs for circular mRNA immunotherapy.Currently, Byterna Therapeutics has achieved technological breakthroughs in high-barrier areas such as seamless and efficient cyclization, AI sequence design, circular mRNA chemical modification, in vivo T-cell targeted delivery, and circular mRNA CAR design and evaluation. It has independently developed and built a world-leading circular mRNA in vivo CAR-T new drug development platform and laid out multiple in vivo CAR-T pipelines. The core pipeline is currently being rapidly advanced into clinical research.

October 17,Byterna TherapeuticsAnnounced the completion of an angel round of financing worth tens of millions of RMB. The round was led by Sunshine Nuohua, with participation from Fangfu Venture Capital and others. The funds will be used for preclinical development and IIT clinical research of the circular mRNA (cmRNA) in vivo CAR-T pipeline.


Since its establishment two years ago, Byterna Therapeutics has been tackling fundamental technological bottlenecks such as circular mRNA and targeted delivery, while focusing on the application layer of in vivo CAR-T new drug development. It has built a world-leading circular mRNA new drug development platform. Byterna Therapeutics has achieved technological breakthroughs in high-barrier areas such as seamless and efficient cyclization, AI sequence design, circular mRNA chemical modification, in vivo T-cell targeted delivery, and circular mRNA CAR design and evaluation. The company has filed more than 10 domestic and international patents, establishing three major technology platforms: byterna.AI × cmCAR × CellectLNP, and has laid out multiple in vivo CAR-T pipelines. Currently, its core pipeline has completed key preclinical trial validations and is rapidly advancing into clinical research.
