Xiaomi Partners with Leading Brain-Computer Interface Companies to Integrate BCI into Mi Home Ecosystem

At the 2025 Xiaomi Human-Vehicle-Home Full Ecosystem Partners Conference, Niu Kun, General Manager of Xiaomi's Core Systems Department, announced that Xiaomi has initiated early-stage cooperation with industry-leading brain-computer interface companies. The partners include NeuraLink and StairMed. The brain-computer project will be integrated into Mi Home, reducing the threshold for using smart home devices.

According to IT Home's report on December 13, the "Triple-All" brain-computer interface product by Shanghai StairMed Technology Co., Ltd. (the first product in China and the second globally with a built-in battery, fully implanted, fully wireless, and full-functionality) has successfully completed its first clinical trial at Huashan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University.

Moreover, in May this year, the first prospective clinical trial of an invasive brain-computer interface system in China, conducted by Shanghai StairMed Technology Co., Ltd., proceeded smoothly.
