Xinhua News Agency, Nanjing, December 16 (Reporters Xu Shanshan and Chen Jianxin) The awarding ceremony for the 4th Jiangsu Zifeng Award was held in Nanjing on the 16th. Xinhua News Agency learned from the ceremony that since its establishment, the award has commended Taiwanese enterprises 154 times in total. As the only provincial-level award on the mainland specifically for Taiwanese-funded enterprises, this year's Zifeng Award was shared by 30 Taiwanese companies across five categories.
The Zifeng Award, hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, aims to recognize Taiwanese-invested enterprises that have made significant contributions while being rooted in Jiangsu, fostering a favorable atmosphere for economic and trade cooperation between Jiangsu and Taiwan. The award ceremony was held during the 2025 Cross-Straits Entrepreneurs Summit Annual Meeting.
Jiangsu is one of the regions with the closest economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between mainland China and Taiwan, and has yielded the most fruitful results. The Zifeng Awards this year consist of five categories, including the Outstanding Contribution Enterprise Award and the Transformation and Upgrading Enterprise Award, with six enterprises selected for each category. The winning enterprises include Qingding Precision Electronics (Huai'an) Co., Ltd. and Wus Printed Circuit Co., Ltd.
It is reported that the six enterprises awarded as Outstanding Contribution Enterprises had a combined revenue of 176.719 billion yuan and an increase in capital of 5.338 billion yuan from 2022 to 2024. The six enterprises awarded as Scientific and Technological Innovation Enterprises collectively own 5,695 invention patents.
