The conference brought together forces from industry, academia, and research, inviting Academician Weinan E, members of the China Materials Research Laboratory Alliance, strategic partner enterprises, universities, and research institutions to participate. Nanping Xu, Director of Suzhou National Laboratory, Zhenqiang Jing, Deputy Director, Baode Sun, Director Assistant, along with heads of various research departments, functional departments, and relevant personnel attended the meeting.

Academician Weinan E pointed out in his speech that, against the backdrop of a profound restructuring of the global scientific and technological innovation system, national laboratories are the core platforms for promoting cross-disciplinary integrated innovation. The forward-looking deployment of artificial intelligence to empower material research and development is of great significance, and he expressed hope that the laboratory will be the first to forge a new path in the evolution of material R&D paradigms. During the academic presentation session, Researcher Ding Feng, Researcher Yanjing Su, and Zhang Yuzhi from DP Technology delivered excellent presentations, focusing on...AI+In-depth exchanges were conducted on the cutting-edge technologies, application scenarios, and future challenges of material computation, material intelligence and big data, and intelligent systems, stimulating ideas and sparking innovation. This conference achieved three outcomes: First, the signing of the "Material Intelligence R&D Cooperation Agreement" to build an innovative system that integrates industry, academia, research, and application; Second, the release of the Material Intelligence...MatMaster", marking a new phase of application for AI-driven materials research and development; thirdly, through academic presentations and industry roundtable forums, in-depth discussions were held on technological core breakthroughs, platform construction, and industrial implementation prospects of material intelligence systems, forming a broad consensus.

Director Xu Nanping pointed out in his concluding speech that the release of the Material Intelligence Agent not only exemplifies the laboratory's strategic role as an "integrator of innovative resource elements," but also serves as a clarion call to tackle deeper, more fundamental scientific challenges in the materials field. Looking ahead, the laboratory will take this conference as a new starting point, steadfastly adhering to the development philosophy of open cooperation and innovation leadership.
