Recently, Takeda Pharmaceutical announced its highly selectiveOral TYK2 Inhibitor Zasocitinib(TAK-279) in twoPositive Results Achieved in Key Phase 3 Clinical Trial

Data shows,The study showed that Zasocitinib was significantly superior to placebo at week 16, achieving the co-primary endpoints, with a higher proportion of participants achieving static Physician Global Assessment (sPGA) scores of 0 or 1 compared to placebo.

The proportion of participants achieving at least a 75% improvement in the Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) from baseline also outperformed placebo, with a significantly higher PASI 75 response rate observed as early as Week 4, which continued to increase through Week 24.

These studies also met all 44 ranked secondary endpoints, including PASI 90, PASI 100, and sPGA 0 compared to placebo and apremilast, demonstrating the potential of this convenient once-daily oral regimen to achieve complete skin clearance.
