Two Winners of China Health Big Data Innovation Competition Beijing Final File IPO Prospectuses

On July 8, 2018, the finals of the Beijing Division of the “ALL IN – China Health and Medical Big Data Industry Innovation Competition” (abbreviated as CDHIC) officially kicked off at PKU Healthcare Innovation Valley. The one-day event brought together medical innovation enterprises specializing in the internet, big data, and artificial intelligence. Twenty-seven projects competed in two categories: “Angel Star” and “Growth Star.” The final list of winners was announced that afternoon.


Quanyu Medical and New Hailianda Win First Place in the Growth Star and Angel Star Categories, Respectively


A total of entries were received for this regional final.More than 200 entries competed, with 10 projects in the “Angel Star” category and 20 in the “Growth Star” category advancing to the finals of the Beijing division. These finalists included eight from healthcare informatization, ten from tech-enabled healthcare, four from medical devices, five from general health and wellness, one from biotechnology, and two from primary care.


The Rising Stars category primarily targets innovative products or service projects in the healthcare industry with high growth potential, covering financing rounds atSeries A–B, or outstanding companies that have not yet raised financing.


AcquisitionQuanyu Medical, the first-place winner in the “Rising Star” category of the CDHIC Beijing Regional Finals, centers its business on the construction and operational services of intelligent radiotherapy systems, striving to establish internationalized and standardized oncology diagnosis and treatment centers. By leveraging the mdaccAutoPlan radiotherapy planning algorithm, the company offers comprehensive radiotherapy solutions across areas such as oncology radiotherapy software system development, hardware equipment supply, overall medical investment solutions, medical imaging, and nuclear medicine. These solutions provide hospitals with integrated services including department establishment, procurement and supply of hardware facilities, equipment installation and maintenance, departmental operational promotion, information technology products, and support for scientific research projects. In 2017, Quanyu spearheaded a National Key R&D Program project titled “Development and Application Research of the ‘Precision Cloud Radiotherapy’ System: A New ‘Internet+’-Based Service Model for Oncology Radiotherapy” (Project No.: 2017YFC0113100). Additionally, it assisted the National Cancer Center in drafting and releasing the Basic Guidelines for Quality Control in Radiation Therapy, thereby gradually solidifying its leading position in the industry.

The Angel Star Group primarily targets financing stages inPre-Series A projects.

The company primarily delivers platform-level solutions to various healthcare institutions—including general hospitals, medical consortia, specialty alliances, hospital groups, and health administrative agencies—as well as value-added services such as big data analytics, expert evaluations, and insurance solutions.

The Largest Number of Finalists Came from the Medical Informatics and Health Tech Sectors


The healthcare informatics and tech-med sectors had the highest number of projects shortlisted for the finals in this competition, accounting for60% of these competing projects demonstrated the strongest capabilities, sweeping the first place in the Angel Star category and the first, second, and third places in the Growth Star category.

33% of companies generate annual revenues exceeding RMB 10 million, making commercialization pathways a key consideration.


According to statistics, among the projects that entered the finals, the operating revenue isNine companies reported revenues below RMB 1 million, seven fell within the RMB 1–5 million range, four were in the RMB 5–10 million bracket, and ten exceeded RMB 10 million. In terms of financing stages, six companies had not yet raised external capital, four were at the angel stage, five at the Pre-A round, ten at Series A, and five at Series B. Overall, the shortlisted companies demonstrated strong revenue-generating capabilities.

The recruitment for this competition covers the entire country, with the entire course lasting nearlyOver a five-month period, seven city divisions were established across China: Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Fuzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Wuhan. Following the conclusion of the Beijing leg, the competition will ignite its second round in Guangzhou on July 28.
