In September 2016, Hebei Aowei Industrial Group invested in and established Beijing Jianke Cloud Network Technology Co., Ltd. and Beijing Jianke Data Technology Co., Ltd., with a combined registered capital of RMB 60 million.

In recent years, with the development of China’s healthcare reforms, Aowei Group has increasingly focused on changes in the broader health industry and primary care landscape. After extensive research by the Group’s decision-making body and thorough deliberation with relevant experts, a final decision was made to enter the healthcare industry.

According to VCBeat, Jianke is headquartered in Beijing, with branches in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Changsha, and the Xiong'an New Area. It has two subsidiaries: Beijing Jianke Data Technology Co., Ltd. and Hebei Xiong'an Zhiyi Technology Co., Ltd.

Since 2015, Jianke has been accumulating expertise in health information technology. It now focuses on smart home health, health management, and community-based smart home elderly care services, providing end-to-end solutions for family health management, corporate health management, rural health management, and community elderly care management. Jianke previously led the development of key projects for Grade A tertiary hospitals, including the “Chronic Disease Management Platform” at the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University in Hunan and the “Internet Hospital” at the Beijing Armed Police General Hospital.

Jianke aims to build a “Smart Health Community Household,” integrating existing medical and elderly care resources on one side to provide professional healthcare services, while connecting community residents, corporate employees, and villagers on the other.

This model enables the public to conveniently access information about their health status. Meanwhile, medical, healthcare, and elderly care institutions can efficiently collect population health data through various informational means, thereby guiding the optimization of medical resource allocation and alleviating the difficulties and high costs associated with accessing medical care. It promotes innovation in healthcare models spanning from prevention to treatment, helping to ease the societal burden of elderly care.

The health management robot features three built-in channels: Health Management, Health Education, and Healthy Living. It offers a comprehensive suite of medical testing capabilities, including blood glucose, blood pressure, electrocardiogram (ECG), urinalysis, pulse rate, body temperature, sleep monitoring, blood oxygen saturation, body fat, and weight measurements. Test data is synchronously uploaded to the cloud, allowing doctors, customer service centers, and family members to access and review the information at any time. In the event of abnormalities, the customer service center and family physicians provide timely intervention, ensuring users receive prompt and precise medical care.

Yiduoka’s intelligent self-diagnosis system is built upon a foundational database of medical knowledge, primarily derived from medical textbooks, literature, and clinical diagnostic pathway knowledge bases used in clinical teaching at renowned medical institutions both in China and abroad. After Yiduoka aggregates these core knowledge bases, the data are cleaned and annotated by an expert team comprising associate chief physicians and above from Grade 3A hospitals in Beijing. Currently, Yiduoka provides online assessments and risk screening for thousands of common diseases.

Yiduoka’s intelligent triage function recommends more appropriate and suitable medical institutions or physicians to patients based on specific screening criteria. The system encompasses a wide variety of data types, with multidimensional data available under different application modules. For instance, the intelligent self-diagnosis module includes over 500 symptom data points and more than 1,000 disease data points, while the intelligent triage module contains data on over 5,000 hospital departments and more than 110,000 physician profiles.

According to Huang Haijiao, CEO of Jianke Cloud Network, Yi Duo Ka, as an intelligent health management service robot designed for family users of chronic disease patients, will adopt two models in its future marketing and promotion:

One model is the direct-to-consumer B2C approach, implemented through various marketing channels (online e-commerce platforms and offline distribution terminals). The other model, B2B2C, reaches end-consumer households by leveraging health and elderly care real estate developments, government public welfare initiatives (PPP projects), or bulk procurement by large enterprises and public institutions.

Typically, in the B2C model, the payer is the end user. In contrast, under the B2B2C model, there are multiple payers, which may include real estate developers, governments, or corporate groups; alternatively, users may cover a portion of the cost, with intermediate service providers or institutions bearing the remainder.

Becoming the Fourth Screen in the Household

The television screen serves as the public entertainment terminal in the home, primarily delivering family-oriented TV programming services. The PC functions as the household’s internet access terminal, mainly providing online information services, while mobile phones or tablets act as personalized communication terminals for individual family members, primarily facilitating communication services.

Of course, in the era of “Internet Plus” and triple-play convergence, the functional boundaries among various terminals are becoming increasingly blurred; however, from a user experience perspective, each retains its own distinct characteristics.

Huang Haijiao, CEO of Jianke Cloud Network, believes that with the improvement of people's living standards and the gradual increase in demand for home health management, products centered on home health management and medical services will inevitably emerge and become widespread in future households. As the medium for delivering healthcare services, smart "screen" products represent the best choice at present.

To become the fourth “screen” in the household, it is essential to provide services that meet users’ core needs and support high-frequency applications. In addition to offering integrated multi-parameter vital signs monitoring, Yi Duoka continuously integrates various healthcare and lifestyle service applications, deeply leverages big data resources on family health, and expands the entry-point value of the fourth household “screen.”

Landing in Xiong'an New Area

In July 2018, the “Hebei Aowei Group–Beijing Jianke Yunwang ‘Ecological Medical Testing Robot’ Xiong’an New Area Medical Community Review Meeting” was held at the Aowei Building in the Xiong’an New Area.

Leaders from the Health and Family Planning Bureaus of the three counties in Xiong’an New Area, presidents of nine hospitals at Level II or above in the New Area, Li Yanjun, Chairman of Aowei Group, Professor Chu Jianmin from Fuwai Hospital representing the Jianke Cloud Network expert team, Professor Dai Tieying, Chief Medical Scientist of Jianke Cloud Network and affiliated with the Second Affiliated Hospital of Tsinghua University, along with more than 130 frontline healthcare workers from the New Area, attended this correction meeting.

At the event, Du Min, President of Xiongxian County Hospital, personally conducted a comprehensive evaluation of YiDuoka. Based on President Du’s actual physiological parameters, measurement data were displayed synchronously on the terminal device and both mobile applications, truly achieving seamless integration across platforms.

The Doctor’s App, developed by Jianke, is a remote mobile doctor-patient management system and an aggregated service platform for professional advancement, tailor-made for licensed physicians. Doctors can independently choose their practice hours and locations based on their individual circumstances; stay updated with cutting-edge industry news; and exchange academic insights. With fully online operations, the platform saves time and energy, enabling physicians to become efficient health managers. Furthermore, Jianke Cloud Network’s reward mechanism helps doctors enhance the value of their expertise and increase their legitimate income.

It is reported that the Xiong’an New Area, as a key destination for the relocation of Beijing’s non-capital medical and healthcare functions, will establish an international medical development system following research conducted by the National Health Commission (NHC). In the future, 44 hospitals under the jurisdiction or administration of the NHC will set up operations in the Xiong’an New Area, among which 11 Grade A tertiary hospitals currently based in Beijing will be the first to establish branch campuses there. This backdrop has provided Jianke with substantial medical resources for its pilot projects in the Xiong’an New Area.

For every enterprise’s development path, it is essential to formulate a comprehensive corporate development strategy by integrating its own advantageous resources with the external market environment. Hebei Aowei Group, the parent company of Jianke, is a local enterprise in the Xiong’an New Area and possesses unique local resources and advantages there.

Meanwhile, the Outline Plan for Hebei Xiong’an New Area also emphasizes prioritizing the development of health service centers, accelerating the construction of a regional population health information platform, vigorously promoting smart healthcare, establishing a health and medical big data application center, and building a healthcare service system that is comprehensive in structure, clearly delineated in responsibilities, complementary in functions, and closely coordinated. It further aims to deploy intelligent education and healthcare systems that offer inclusive, precise, and customized services, thereby creating human-centric smart communities with all-time, all-place service capabilities. It is precisely for these reasons that Jianke has selected Xiong’an New Area as one of its initial pilot regions.
