We are more bullish on products designed for physicians. Mobile healthcare typically focuses on patients; however, if physicians do not endorse it, securing payment from Chinese patients becomes quite difficult. Behavioral Interventions Can Reduce the Risk of HIV Infection Among Young Transgender Women
According to a study published in JAMA Pediatrics on August 13, behavioral interventions can reduce the risk of HIV transmission through sexual contact among young transgender women. A children’s hospital in Chicago conducted a trial involving 190 transgender women aged 16 to 29 years. Participants were randomly assigned to either the LifeSkills intervention group (116 participants) or the standard care group (74 participants). Researchers found that, compared with the standard care group, the LifeSkills group showed a 30.8% mean reduction in condomless sexual acts at 4 months and a 39.8% mean reduction at 12 months.
