Daosheng Medical and YunAnbao Top CDHIC Regional Finals in TCM and TMT Data Categories, File IPO Prospectus

Aligning with National Policy Trends, Two Major Sectors Advance in Tandem

From early traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), dominated by herbal remedies and acupuncture, to modern TCM characterized by the four diagnostic methods (inspection, listening/smelling, inquiry, and palpation) and syndrome differentiation-based treatment, although TCM has been gradually supplanted by modern medicine—with its strength in surgical procedures—it has never withdrawn from the historical stage. TCM continues to play a significant role in people’s healthcare and health maintenance; seeking folk remedies from experienced TCM practitioners and treating typhoid and miscellaneous diseases remain common practices among many Chinese people. In February 2016, the State Council issued the Outline of the Strategic Plan for the Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (2016–2030); in July 2017, the Law on Traditional Chinese Medicine came into effect; in September 2017, the former National Health and Family Planning Commission released the Interim Measures for the Filing and Administration of TCM Clinics...

The 30 projects shortlisted for this Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) + TMT special competition hail from eight cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Chongqing, Henan, Zhejiang, and Nanjing. Among them, innovative projects from Beijing and Shanghai constitute the main force, accounting for a total of 17 entries.

Furthermore, the innovative projects shortlisted for this regional final are generally of high quality and demonstrate sound financial health. Represented by Nanjing Dajing Traditional Chinese Medicine Information Technology Co., Ltd., multiple innovative enterprises have already developed mature products, launched them into the market, and achieved profitability. According to statistics from VCBeat, over 40% of the projects have attained annual revenues exceeding RMB 5 million, with six projects reporting annual revenues surpassing RMB 10 million. Additionally, nearly 70% of the projects have secured investment and financing; among these, Series A funding accounts for 33%, Series B for 8%, and Series D and beyond for 4%.
