Zhang Yuanting, Ph.D., is currently Chair Professor of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at City University of Hong Kong. In 2006–2007, he was elected as a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering, an IEEE Fellow, and an AIMBE Fellow. Shen Dinggang, Tenured Professor and Distinguished Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE), IEEE Fellow, and Co-CEO of Shanghai United Imaging Intelligence Healthcare Technology Co., Ltd. He is one of the pioneering scientists worldwide to conduct research on artificial intelligence in medical imaging and was the first to apply deep learning to this field. He is a Fellow of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR) and a recipient of China’s Thousand Talents Program. He has published more than 400 papers in prestigious international journals, which have been cited over 20,000 times, with an H-index of 82.
