Professor, Level 2; Doctoral Supervisor; Chair of the Committee of the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (ASCI); Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. National Committee Member of the Chinese Society of Cardiology and Executive Deputy Leader of its Imaging Group; Chair of the Cardiovascular Specialty Committee of the Radiology Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Vice Chair of the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Specialty Committee of the Chinese Society of Radiology. As the principal investigator, he has secured more than ten research grants, including Key Projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Key International Cooperation Projects. He has also received six provincial and ministerial-level awards, including the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the Ministry of Education. In 2015, he was awarded the Gold Medal by the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (ASCI).

Professor Zhao Shihua believes that CTA, MRI, and PET each have their own advantages and complement one another in the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases with current imaging technologies.

The Value of CTA in Diagnosing the Triple Threat of Chest Pain (Camera), Suitable for Patients with Low to Intermediate Risk of Coronary Heart Disease;

CMR: Structure, Function, and Histology (Camera + Microscope);

Nuclear Medicine: Myocardial Perfusion/Viable Myocardium;

Ultrasound: Real-time dynamic imaging.

Professor Zhao Shihua believes that online consultation is an international trend,Implement multi-site practice for physicians in earnest,The prospects are promising, but the task is arduous and complex.The quality of consultations is the vitality of the website and the prerequisite for online consultations.

On September 26, Professor Zhao Shihua, Chair of the Board of the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging and Fellow of the European and American Heart Associations, will attend the “Infinity” – 2018 World Forum on Medical Technology, co-hosted by VCBeat, VCBeat Research Institute, and the Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration Coordination Department of the China High-Tech Industrialization Research Association. He will share insights on the variables and development trends shaping wearable technology within the broader health industry.

[Conference Details]

We can now see that digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, 3D printing, and the Internet of Things are impacting various industries, with continuous technological innovation disrupting the healthcare sector.

The introduction of the “Development Plan for New-Generation Artificial Intelligence” and the “Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of ‘Internet Plus Healthcare’” has triggered a surge of capital inflows, with highly valued AI enterprises emerging frequently, while commercialization pathways continue to be explored.

The “Healthy China 2030” Planning Outline was released, and three major health and medical data groups were established. The explosive growth in data, driven by declining costs of data acquisition from gene sequencing and wearable devices, has laid the scale foundation for big data and AI analytics;

With the growing acceptance of robotic applications in China’s healthcare sector and their widespread adoption across various stages of diagnosis and treatment, medical robots—particularly surgical robots—have become “high-demand products” in the robotics industry. Robots are increasingly being deployed in hospitals, with domestic technologies steadily catching up with their foreign counterparts.

Medical 3D printing has entered a transition period from the primary to the intermediate stage. Applications such as dental prosthetics and customized prosthetic limbs have achieved commercialization and are developing rapidly. Orthopedics has become a key focus of market competition, attracting various enterprises to establish their presence. New breakthroughs have been made in organ and tissue experimentation, making human clinical applications promising.

In April this year, the National Health Commission released the “Standards and Specifications for Hospital Information Construction in China (Trial),” which clearly defined 21 application scenarios for IoT-based positioning and data monitoring. With the introduction of these standards, the industry’s direction has become increasingly clear, and scenario-based applications are beginning to stand out.

In the genetics sector, tumor detection is poised for rapid growth, microbiomics is gradually maturing under policy guidance, and consumer genetic testing has entered the “20-yuan” era.

Technological innovation enterprises have begun to explore their own paths for application implementation, scaling from 1 to N...

The 2018 World Forum on Medical Technology, themed “Infinity,” will be held at the Le Méridien Minhang Shanghai Hotel from September 26 to September 27, 2018.

This forum will bring together domestic and international healthcare service providers, listed companies, financial institutions, and health-tech innovators centered on technological innovation. It will explore five key dimensions—policy, capital, data, technology, and commercialization pathways—focusing on the commercial applications of five major technologies (AI, big data, robotics, 3D printing, and IoT, along with genetic testing) within hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and third-party healthcare service providers. The event will feature eight core forums, discuss over 80 hot topics, and convene more than 80 industry leaders, 100+ investors, 300+ entrepreneurs, and 30+ media outlets in Shanghai to spark intellectual exchange and foster collaboration.

If you are a government official, healthcare practitioner, or industry professional focused on technological innovation in health and medical care—including executives from healthcare IT companies, medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical firms, and insurance companies; industry investors; healthcare media professionals; and leaders of public or startup companies engaged in big data and AI-driven healthcare—this industry forum is tailor-made for “you.”

You’re just one ticket away from the industry’s top experts.
