Chuanshi Banruo Launches 'Sifang Cloud' Pharmaceutical Logistics Platform to Build Supply Chain Infrastructure

On August 29, 2018, the 10th China Express Freight Conference was held in Beijing. Themed “Reform and Innovation Driving High-Quality Development of the Express Freight Industry,” the conference comprehensively showcased the changes and current state of the logistics industry over the past decade and provided insights into its future development trends. Among the events, the Forum on Innovative Development of Social Pharmaceutical Logistics was jointly organized by the Express Freight Branch of the China Communications Transportation Association, the Social Pharmaceutical Logistics Branch of the China Pharmaceutical Commerce Association, and Shenzhen Chuanshi Banruo Technology Co., Ltd.

The sub-forum centered on pharmaceutical transportation, discussing the industry’s current status and development trends from multiple dimensions, including pharmaceutical distribution, transportation standards, logistics quality, cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, supply chain technology, and supply chain finance. At the forum, Qu Yong, General Manager of Shenzhen Chuanshi Boruo Technology Co., Ltd., released a solution for the Pharmaceutical Transportation Service Platform—Medicine SiFang Cloud Platform.

The platform was jointly established by the Social Pharmaceutical Logistics Branch of the China Pharmaceutical Commerce Association, the Express Freight Branch of the China Communications and Transportation Association, and Shenzhen Chuanshi Banruo Technology Co., Ltd. It aims to provide pharmaceutical logistics enterprises with information systems that meet pharmaceutical transportation standards, committed to promoting the comprehensive upgrading of pharmaceutical logistics and fully advancing the implementation and enforcement of industry standards.

The platform has introduced blockchain-based drug traceability and smart contract technologies, integrating extensive social logistics resources, supply chain support resources, and supply chain finance resources that comply with pharmaceutical transportation standards. It has pioneered the adoption of a fourth-party logistics (4PL) operational model, providing end-to-end process management services from cargo consolidation at the shipper’s end through line-haul transportation, local distribution, and last-mile delivery. Currently, 176 enterprises have joined the Pharmaceutical 4PL Cloud Platform. The platform’s compliant pharmaceutical warehousing space exceeds 1.1 million square meters, including 810,000 square meters of third-party warehouses, and it operates a fleet of over 18,000 vehicles. The platform’s logistics resources now cover more than 90% of provinces and municipalities across China.

Alongside the launch of the Drug-Involved Transportation Service Platform, the Social Pharmaceutical Logistics Branch of the China Pharmaceutical Commerce Association, the Express Delivery Branch of the China Communications and Transportation Association, and Shenzhen Chuanshi Boruo Technology Co., Ltd. jointly issued the “Initiative for Self-Discipline in Drug-Involved Transportation” to pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmaceutical distributors, and logistics enterprises engaged in drug-related transportation across China. The initiative calls on the industry to collectively implement standards for drug-involved transportation, utilize logistics resources and services that comply with these standards, work together to safeguard public medication safety, and establish industry standards. Upon its release, the initiative swiftly garnered enthusiastic support from hundreds of enterprises both online and offline.

At the signing ceremony with partner enterprises, Chen Xiaoxu, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Express Branch of the China Communications and Transportation Association and Secretary-General of the Logistics Investment and Financing Branch, and Yang Xinpu, Chairman of Shenzhen Chuanshi Banruo Technology Co., Ltd., signed agreements with deep cooperation partners of the platform. The signing enterprises included Ping An Bank, Tianjin Tasly Pharmaceutical Marketing Group Co., Ltd., Sinopharm Holding Zhihui Minsheng (Tianjin) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Beijing Keyuan Xinhai Pharmaceutical Operation Co., Ltd., Hanguang Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., Shanxi Zhendong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., China Merchants Logistics Group Beijing Co., Ltd., Jinhai Jieya International Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd., Wuhan Qiyao Aviation Network Logistics Co., Ltd., and Hubei Jiuzhou Shuntian International Logistics Co., Ltd., among others.
